There is a good deal of lore included in this narrative, and it felt as though The Witcher was a series who are lovers who are into dream content. And that I fit into one of these classes.
Additionally, this is a series that is not always episodic in its storytelling, despite originally emerging so. Everything is linked, and the series does a excellent job of linking together. And make no mistake, there’s a great deal of narrative so that is no simple undertaking.
Simply typing all that out reminds me again of how this series originally felt thick with lore into the purpose of putting off me, but after diving to the series’ first time on a boring New Year’s Day, I dropped a bit in love with this particular goofy-ass high fantasy show, which also feels just like the epitome of what a binge-worthy Netflix series ought to be.
